    bio

Marcos is an american Director who was chosen from a field of over 200 up-and-coming directors to direct the video for the title track to Jewel’s hit CD, “This Way.”

Following this success, his video for “Drive” (by Angie Mattson) won the award for “Best Independent Video of the Year 2004” by the Los Angeles Music Awards.

In addition to the award-winning short film Common Practice, featured in the 2006 Sundance Film Festival, Marcos has written and directed several other short films.  He also boasts an impressive collection of music videos and commercials.  As much as he enjoys short-form filmmaking, his true passion lies with feature films.

The screenplay for his provocative character drama The Walls was invited to the prestigious Tribeca All Access screenwriting program in 2006.
